Life can feel like a lot sometimes, whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, addiction, or the emotional weight of caring for a loved one. Maybe things feel tangled, or you're used to being the strong one for everyone else. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. I want to understand your story, what’s been heavy lately, and what you’re hoping will feel different. Together, we can begin to make sense of it all and help you feel more steady, supported, and like yourself again.
I believe that medication is sometimes helpful, but it is not always the whole answer. Mental health challenges rarely come from one single source, and true healing often requires looking deeper. Together, we will work to identify underlying patterns, stressors, and root causes rather than simply treating symptoms.
I listen intuitively — 100% judgment free, with unconditional support. In our work together you'll increase confidence and manage stress more effectively.
We'll uncover the root of what's troubling you, explore new perspectives, and shift into healthier thought patterns.
This is done by integrating evidence based and mind-body approaches, which tends to bring clients RELIEF and CLARITY.
I have been a therapist for over 20 years and have expertise in depression and anxiety, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, women's issues, and problematic anger. Although I work with people of all faiths and backgrounds, I also enjoy providing faith-based counseling to Christian clients to support them spiritually in treatment. I earned my BA in psychology from Butler University and my MA in Clinical Psychology from Trinity International University. I am curious and teachable, willing to learn from observation and from others. I am a wife, daughter, sister, and mom of three ranging from elementary school to adulthood, with disabilities and chronic illness. I love spending time with my family, good coffee, and taking a walk with a good friend.
I've devoted a decade of my career helping parents learn how to best help their children. And another decade helping adults in an out-patient partial hospitalization program. These are the moments when people have felt the most vulnerable and in need of something more than what they are already trying to manage their mental health. Hopefully, my experience and tools that I've gathered working across the age groups and in a more intense level of care can help you build your own toolbox.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in private practice since 2020. Beforehand, I worked in Chicago schools as a school social worker and paraprofessional. Feeling truly understood can be life changing, especially when you have spent so much of your life feeling like you have to explain yourself. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, or exploring your identity, therapy offers a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move toward the life you want to create. I work with adults and couples throughout the Chicagoland area, with a special passion for supporting LGBTQ clients and fellow immigrants as they build healthier relationships, greater self compassion, and a stronger sense of belonging.
I am a solution focused therapist with 39 years of experience. My therapy style is cognitive, interactive, compassionate, and, if need be, challenging. I believe effective therapy should produce change, not just insight. I will listen to you deeply, help conceptualize the problems, patterns, and dynamics which are causing you trouble, and give you feedback. Together, we will develop a strategy for more effective functioning and a better quality of life. therapy.
I do not do phone consultations.
